Job Title: Tax Senior Manager, Sustainability Credits
Experience: 8+ years
Salary Range: $153,860 to $285,740 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Multiple locations across the United States (34 locations available)
Position Summary:
- **Members Only**'s Gi3 practice provides clients with government credits and incentives services in over 150 countries and regions worldwide.
- The Gi3 tax team consists of over 1,000 specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive tax C&I services.
- The Gi3 practice is focused on sustainability and ESG, and works with some of the world's largest companies in various industries.
- This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of a rapidly growing practice and work with a team of experienced and innovative professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on sustainability and social Federal C&I programs and manage and facilitate analysis and documentation of opportunities.
- Identify potential opportunities and advise clients on eligibility requirements.
- Develop strong internal and client relationships.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and present potential opportunities to assist clients.
- Collaborate with other technical specialties and perform benefit calculations.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Participate in internal initiatives and special tax-related projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, business administration, economics, engineering, environmental studies, geology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a related field (exception applies for master's degree with 2+ years of experience).
- One of the following accreditations: Licensed CPA, Licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, or certifications such as PMP, CFP, or GRI.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and client needs.
- Strong analytical and research skills, as well as effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, LLM, or JD, or related field.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with tax technical research and Federal or State and Local C&I.
- Experience with sustainability technologies or environmental sciences.
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms.
