Key Responsibilities:
Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Ensure that all subcontracts comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards, while mitigating potential risks.
Oversee the collection and review of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to ensure compliance with subcontract requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized records of subcontracts, amendments, and COIs.
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, and finance, to ensure smooth subcontract administration.
Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractor inquiries, issues, and resolutions.
Prepare detailed and timely reports for senior management on the status and progress of subcontract execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in subcontract management or contract administration, ideally within a construction, engineering, or project-based environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Paralegal certificate preferred.
Previous experience within the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable.
