Job Title: 2026 2L Summer Associate (Nationwide)
Job Responsibilities:
The Summer Associate Program at the law firm is designed to recruit outstanding associates and ensure the future success of the firm. Summer associates will have the opportunity to work on several projects in various practice areas alongside different lawyers. Responsibilities include:
- Observing and assisting in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
- Participating in client meetings and closings.
- Engaging in substantive and challenging work assignments, including Pro Bono matters.
- Receiving mentoring from partners and associates.
- Collaborating in a supportive work environment.
- Attending writing skills training and interactive workshops, including M&A and deposition skills.
- Receiving guidance and detailed feedback on work products.
- Networking at various social events.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should be rising second-year law students who will graduate between December 2026 and June 2027. The law firm seeks students who exemplify the qualities of successful associates, such as innovation, strong communication skills, achievement drive, interpersonal savvy, client service excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively. Preferred candidates will have outstanding academic credentials, superior writing skills, and may be members of Law Review, Journal, or Moot Court.
Salary Information:
The salary wage for the position is expected to be $4,327 per week.
