Job Title: Commercial & Employment Litigation Attorneys
Job Responsibilities:
The attorneys will operate under the guidance of the Office Managing Partner, Practice Group Leader, and/or Partners to prepare matters for hearing, trial, arbitration, or mediation. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, and other legal documents.
- Reviewing and analyzing documents for relevance and privilege.
- Preparing for, attending, and summarizing depositions.
- Coordinating with witnesses and communicating effectively with clients, courts, and other counsel.
- Drafting and arguing motions.
- Maintaining a current understanding of Local Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP, and other applicable codes and regulations.
- Coordinating and communicating with external parties including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, case assistants, managers, and other staff members.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice law in Illinois. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience in commercial and employment litigation. However, the law firm welcomes applications from all levels of experience. Solid written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language are essential.
Salary Information:
The law firm offers a competitive salary range between $100,000 and $275,000 per year. The actual salary offered may vary based on several factors, including relevant skills, training, and experience, as well as the location where the position is filled.
