Job Title: Summer Associate - Paul Hastings Fellowship

Job Responsibilities:
The Summer Associate Program at Paul Hastings is designed to serve as a foundational experience for law students, aimed at recruiting outstanding associates who will contribute to the future success of the law firm. Summer associates participate in a variety of projects across different practice areas within the . offices. Their responsibilities include:

- Engaging in substantive and challenging work assignments, including Pro Bono matters.
- Observing and assisting in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
- Participating in client meetings and closings.
- Receiving mentoring from partners and associates.
- Working in a collaborative environment.
- Receiving training in writing skills.
- Obtaining guidance and detailed feedback on work products.
- Networking at various social events.
- Participating in interactive training workshops, including M&A and deposition skills.

Education and Experience Information:
Paul Hastings seeks applications from law students who meet the following criteria:

- Enrollment as a full-time student at an ABA-accredited law school.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting the law firm's culture of community, opportunity, and inclusion.

- For 1L applicants, a completed application must be submitted by February 1 of their 1L year.
- For 2L applicants, a completed application must be submitted by September 1 of their 2L year.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Summer Associate position is $4,326 per week. Additionally, recipients of the Paul Hastings Fellowship receive a $50,000 award.
