Job Title: 2026 2L Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The 2026 Summer Associate Program at the law firm is designed to provide law students with exposure to various aspects of the firm’s practice. Summer Associates will attend firm-wide summer training programs that offer a comprehensive curriculum, allowing them to interact with other Summer Associates from different offices. In their local offices, they will engage in activities such as attending conferences, participating in practice group sessions, observing depositions, trials, and other court proceedings, as well as labor arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and business transaction closings. The firm ensures that Summer Associates receive diverse work assignments across multiple projects and practice areas, working with a variety of lawyers to gain broad legal experience.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must have superior academic records.
- Applicants should be rising 2L students, having completed two years of law school by the start of the 2026 Summer Program.
- Candidates should exhibit high levels of initiative and motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
- A strong work ethic is essential.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities and leadership experience is preferred.

Salary Information:
The annualized gross salary for San Francisco Summer Associates is expected to be $225,000. This amount will be pro-rated and payable in semi-monthly installments, subject to industry, market, and economic conditions. The position is not eligible for benefits; however, paid holidays are available.
