Cozen O’Connor, a leading national law firm, is currently seeking a talented Intellectual Property Associate with a strong technical background in chemistry. The ideal candidate will join our IP Department and work in one of our offices located in New York, Miami, Washington , Philadelphia, Boulder or Seattle. The Role:
- Provide comprehensive IP service to clients
- Handle all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets and unfair competition
- Work on clearance and procurement as well as litigation
- Depending on experience and preference, this position could be wholly litigation-focused or a mixture of litigation and prosecution-related work
- A license in good standing in the resident state is required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Strong technical background in chemistry
- Prior experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation is a plus
- Preference will be given to candidates with graduate-level training in chemistry
- Must have a license in good standing in the resident state
