Job Title:
Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group at the company, you will be an integral member of tax engagement teams, providing a range of tax services for both public and private companies. Your responsibilities will encompass tax compliance, planning, controversy, and research. Specifically, your duties will include:

- Performing detailed technical reviews of partnership, corporate, and individual federal tax returns and related work papers.
- Coordinating with clients’ tax and finance departments to gather data for tax planning and compliance.
- Conducting detailed reviews of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
- Researching federal tax legislation to understand its impact on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting with various tax consulting projects, including research and writing related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.

Education and Experience Information:
Required qualifications for this position include:

- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in federal taxation.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Active accreditation, in process, or willingness to obtain one of the following:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications:
- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Preferred qualifications include:

- An advanced degree such as a Master of Tax, JD, or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- A passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740.
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the position’s location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,570 to $151,580. Additionally, there may be eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's governing rules. An award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Additional Information:
Applicants should be able to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2–3 days per week and be willing to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work and clients served.
