**Job Title**
Lead, Transformation Program Management - National Tax
**Job Responsibilities**
The role of Lead, Transformation Program Management is pivotal within the Tax Transformation Office of the company. The primary responsibility involves driving service delivery transformation through improvements in people, processes, and technology. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of professional services and the entire engagement life cycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships to track and monitor the progress of workstreams.
- Ensuring timely reporting of milestones and dependency status.
- Monitoring risks and issues, escalating them to leadership when necessary.
- Preparing executive-level briefings and reports.
- Executing day-to-day project management activities to support tax transformation projects.
- Developing and managing project workplans, managing scope, and ensuring timely delivery of business outcomes.
- Engaging with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements.
- Conducting business process analysis and modeling.
- Applying agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design.
- Collaborating throughout the technology delivery lifecycle, conducting system testing, and facilitating user testing.
- Preparing and delivering learning materials, planning deployment activities, and providing hypercare support.
- Driving adoption through change management and communication.
- Analyzing feedback and developing related action plans.
- Decommissioning legacy systems.
**Education and Experience Information**
- A Bachelor's degree in business or information technology-related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of consulting client experience is necessary.
- At least 3 years of experience leading project management teams, ideally in a professional services environment, focusing on strategy implementation, business transformation, and project management.
- Demonstrated understanding of standard system development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Ability to travel 25% - 50% a month, depending on project work and phase of the delivery cycle.
- One of the following active accreditations is required, obtained, in process, or willing to obtain: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or Technology Certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP).
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in digital transformation is preferred.
- Experience with Smartsheet, agile delivery, and design thinking is advantageous.
- Business process analysis and design experience is beneficial.
- Experience in end-to-end technology project delivery, training delivery, and post-production client-facing support is desirable.
- A strong focus on deployment, adoption, and driving change is preferred.
- Experience in developing a tax technology strategy supporting tax compliance and provision platforms to maximize efficiencies and streamline processes is advantageous.
- Experience in defining delivery standards and a working knowledge of data management and metrics is desirable.
- Experience in a professional environment developing polished presentations, talking points, and content is beneficial.
- High proficiency in MS Office tools: Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines.
- Process-driven thinking is advantageous.
- Previous Big 4 experience is preferred.
**Salary Information**
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is $84,980 to $169,650. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's rules, which depend on individual and organizational performance.
