Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney with Immigration Experience

Overview:

The **Members Only** is currently seeking a motivated and organized Associate Attorney to join our team. We are a busy immigration law firm looking for a driven individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people. This position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in immigration law and a desire to work in a collaborative team environment.

Position Details:

Title: Associate Attorney
Department: Immigration
Work Hours: Mon – Fri from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with our principal attorney, paralegals, and clients to draft, review, and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications. This includes immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, consular processing, waivers, asylum, employment-based and investment-based cases, and naturalization. You will also be responsible for collecting necessary facts and documentation, conducting legal research, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in immigration law or have completed an immigration clinic
- Familiarity with immigration procedures and processes
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Capability to work independently on multiple projects
- Exceptional organizational and proofreading skills
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor
- Trustworthy, with excellent references
- Team player with strong computer and internet research skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Reader, Zoom, Webex, etc.
- Willingness to learn and use immigration case management software and advanced office equipment
- In-depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles (preferred)
- Passion for assisting people

Salary:

The salary for this position will be discussed based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
