**Members Only** is seeking a Junior Game Lawyer (Legal Assistant) to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a rapidly growing video game publisher, we are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for the gaming industry and a desire to learn and grow in the legal field. This position offers the opportunity to work with both internal teams and external partners, gaining valuable experience in contract drafting, legal research, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and maintain standard agreements such as NDAs, contractor agreements, and licensing agreements
- Serve as a liaison between **Members Only** and our external law firm for contract escalations and legal inquiries
- Update and maintain legal templates to reflect current business needs and industry best practices
- Provide basic legal research and guidance on common industry matters
- Assist with corporate compliance, documentation, and policy updates
- Review and track contract deadlines, renewals, and deliverables
- Support cross-functional teams by explaining legal concepts in an accessible way
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of legal experience, preferably in entertainment, media, or gaming law
- Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business law, or a related field; paralegal certification or JD preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal teams
- Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in the video game industry is a plus
