The Fennemore Craig law firm is seeking talented law students to join our highly regarded Summer Associate Program. This program serves as our primary source for new, full-time associates and has been in place since the mid 1970’s. We are committed to investing in the future of our firm by providing summer associates with the tools and experiences they need to succeed as attorneys.
About The Program
- Our summer associates immediately become members of our team.
- One-on-one mentoring, direct feedback from assigning attorneys, and a reader to review and evaluate projects are all part of the program.
- Feedback and progress discussions are provided at the midpoint of the summer.
- Summer associates are encouraged to attend practice group meetings and visit client facilities.
- Our firm leaders, including members of our Management Committee and Practice Group Chairs, are alumni of our summer associate program.

Training & Work Assignments
We believe in providing our summer associates with the practical training and real work experience they need to prepare for a successful career as an attorney. Our training sessions cover research, legal writing, and other essential skills, and our summer associates have the opportunity to shadow and participate in various day-to-day activities with our attorneys. We also strive to assign work in areas of interest to our summer associates, and provide feedback and progress discussions throughout the summer. Additionally, we offer a variety of social activities to help our summer associates get to know our attorneys and staff.
