Law Firm Seeking Experienced Practice Assistant - Litigation in Washington DC
Nixon Peabody, a top law firm, is looking for a skilled Practice Assistant - Litigation to join our team in Washington DC. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse team of top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support for assigned attorneys
- Manage calendars, meetings, and court filings
- Proactively anticipate and prepare for next steps in cases
- Assist with practice development initiatives and maintaining client relationships
- Coordinate copy and print jobs, faxes, and mail/shipping needs
- Foster a positive work environment and collaborate with the support team
- Identify training needs and actively pursue professional development
- Embrace new technology and attend firm-sponsored training
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Notary Public certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to learn new skills in Litigation law

Salary Information:
- Washington, DC: $69,807 - $99,851 annually
- Additional contingent compensation may be available based on factors such as work performance and qualifications
