Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Harrisburg is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring 4-5 years of experience in construction litigation, commercial litigation, and administrative law. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex litigation cases while working within a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic team environment.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in construction and commercial litigation matters from initiation through resolution.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law to inform case strategies.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently, coordinating with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals as needed.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on construction and commercial law issues.
  • Collaborate with fellow associates and senior attorneys to contribute to the firm’s overall objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in construction commercial litigation, or administrative law.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, with additional licensure in New Jersey, Delaware, and/or Maryland preferred.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Education:

  • . from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Additional licensure in New Jersey, Delaware, and/or Maryland is a plus.
