Job Title: Litigation Counsel
Job Responsibilities:
- Gain experience in all aspects of litigation from the initial investigation through discovery and trial.
- Research legal issues and interview witnesses.
- Appear at case management conferences.
- Prepare in-house attorneys to take and defend depositions.
- Draft pretrial and trial motions.
- Participate in pre-trial dispute resolution.
- Try cases with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time.
- Collaborate closely with outside counsel on non-California litigation matters.
- Support internal investigations, including conducting and documenting interviews.
- Review and respond to third-party subpoenas and records requests.
- Provide internal advice and counseling across a broad spectrum of legal issues.
- Respond to government inquiries and demand letters.
- Stay updated on relevant industry and litigation-related laws to ensure the provision of excellent legal advice.
- Develop processes and procedures to increase efficiencies, manage and leverage data, and support a growing legal department.
- Occasional travel involved.
Education and Experience Information:
- 2-5 years of litigation experience.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- California Bar admission in good standing (bar admission in additional states is a plus).

Salary Information:
- The good faith estimated range of pay for this position is $115,000 - $165,000, depending on factors such as experience and skill.
- There is a target discretionary incentive bonus of 20%.
