Job Title: Civil Law Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil law matters, particularly in Catawba County and western North Carolina.
- Conduct new client consultations to understand their legal needs.
- Attend court sessions, mediations, and depositions to advocate for clients.
- Research and prepare cases for court, ensuring thorough preparation for legal proceedings.
- Participate in case reviews to evaluate and strategize ongoing cases.
- Engage in team training sessions to enhance legal skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with clients through various channels, including in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience by providing top-quality customer service.
- Manage a high volume of cases efficiently from start to finish, navigating all necessary legal processes.
- Collaborate with a mentor, assigned case manager, and participate in weekly training sessions for professional development.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must be a licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.
- Previous law firm and litigation experience is preferred, but all levels of experience will be considered.
