Associate Attorney The candidate's duties would include researching various state, federal and international laws regarding legal issues. Drafting legal memoranda, court documents and discovery documents, alternative dispute resolution submissions and more; handling court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and trials; and otherwise assisting the partners. Advising clients on their business matters and appearing in court. Should have 2+ years of experience in a law firm. Prior experience in a commercial litigation firm is a plus. Must be licensed to practice in Illinois. Should possess robust research and writing skills. Should be proficient in Westlaw and Microsoft Office programs. Should be capable of learning quickly and handling tasks with limited supervision as necessary on a timely basis, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
