Law Firm Seeking Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 Years Experience

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is currently seeking a Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 years of experience. This is a full-time position with flexible options for remote, hybrid, or onsite work. The ideal candidate will have medium to large law firm experience, with paralegal or law clerk experience as a plus. Confidentiality and discretion are essential in this role, as the candidate will be handling sensitive client and firm matters.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct conflict of interest searches and manage matter intake until resolution
- Analyze conflict reports and make recommendations for attorney review
- Communicate and disseminate conflict information to lawyers and other staff members
- Conduct research using third-party resources for new clients and other assigned work
- Stay updated on professional conduct rules and client relationship considerations
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance productivity
- Be available for overtime work, including weekends and holidays when needed

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field (. research, paralegal, or clerk experience) or 1 year of direct conflicts experience in a law firm
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Discretion and good judgment in handling sensitive information
- Proficiency with Outlook preferred
- Familiarity with legal documents is a plus

Education:

- College degree preferred
