Responsibilities:
- Prepare for depositions and trials, including drafting legal documents, preparing witnesses, and analyzing deposition transcripts
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and make recommendations to clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients
- Attend hearings and other legal proceedings as needed
- Manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements:
- Active membership in the Pennsylvania bar, with preference for New Jersey bar membership as well
- 2-5 years of experience in medical malpractice or a related field
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
