The Role:
- Provide strategic and tactical legal services for **Members Only** and Phenomenex's business, reporting to the General Counsel.
- Work with multiple functional areas including Business Units, Commercial, Operations, and Compliance and Enablement.
- Manage disputes and use Danaher Business System tools to improve processes and client service levels.
- JD from an accredited . law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one . jurisdiction.
- Ability to manage a global client base and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for legal and compliance team globally.
- Offer practical, solution-oriented approaches to complex legal issues and negotiate agreements.
- Partner with specialist attorneys on various matters.
- Manage disputes and use DBS tools for process improvement.
- JD from accredited . law school and active bar membership.
- Ability to manage global client base and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the company.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited . law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one . jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as an in-house counsel or a combination of law firm practice and in-house experience.
- Ability to manage a global client base and calendar with the ability to balance numerous matters and prioritize effectively as business needs dictate.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with associates at all levels of the company, from most junior to most senior, employing a service-oriented, business-minded approach to the practice of law.
- Previous experience in identifying gaps in processes, implementing process improvement, and crafting standard work.
- Previous experience in drafting and implementing policies and procedures.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range for this role is $170,000-$190,000.
- Eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
