Manager, International Tax
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in the International Tax Services practice, the candidate will be responsible for delivering tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients, focusing on the tax implications of their international operations. The role involves identifying complex tax issues and providing analysis and recommendations for these entities and their affiliates. Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with the implementation of specific international tax structures and processes
- Overseeing complex tax computation projects across diverse industries
- Conducting research and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance to the engagement team
- Supervising Senior and Tax Consultants
Education and Experience Information:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on international taxation
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
- Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on the work, clients, and industries served
- One of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations based on role requirements and business approval:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, public accounting, or consulting
- Experience in strategic planning initiatives
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong research and verbal and written communication skills
Salary Information:
The salary range for this role reflects the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differences. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $111,090 to $235,170. Additionally, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's rules, with awards based on individual and organizational performance.
