Job Title: Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group at the company, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive tax services to both public and private companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a detailed technical review of federal tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals, as well as reviewing all related work papers.
- Coordinating with clients' tax and finance departments to gather data for tax planning and compliance.
- Conducting a thorough review of income tax provisions in alignment with ASC 740 standards.
- Researching federal tax legislation to comprehend its implications on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting with various tax consulting projects, which include research and writing tasks related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in federal taxation is essential.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals is necessary.
- Candidates must have one of the following active accreditations, either obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications:
- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree such as a Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- A passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong presentation and communications skills.

Salary Information:
The salary for this role is determined by various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed salary range is $66,570 to $151,580. It is important to note that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for this role, as compensation decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, which is contingent upon individual and organizational performance.

This position requires the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, with US Tax professionals co-locating in person 2 – 3 days per week. There is also a requirement for travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work performed and the clients and industries/sectors served.
