Job Title: IP Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The role of the IP Litigation Associate at the law firm involves participating in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. Associates will be required to engage in various aspects of intellectual property litigation, which encompasses preparing for and attending court proceedings, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and collaborating with other team members to develop litigation strategies. The associate will also be expected to navigate and comprehend complex legal subject matter efficiently and effectively. Additional responsibilities include maintaining communication with clients and supporting the growth of the national practice through teamwork and dedication.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates interested in the IP Litigation Associate position must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in the jurisdiction where they intend to practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in intellectual property litigation. Experience with the Federal Circuit is considered advantageous. High academic achievement and solid experience in a law firm or in clerking positions are essential. Superb research, writing, and communication skills are required for this role.
Salary Information:
The compensation for the IP Litigation Associate position ranges from $230,000 to $310,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience. In addition to the base salary, a discretionary bonus may be available based on performance. The law firm offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as voluntary insurance options such as vision coverage. Employees will also have access to a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
