Are you a student currently enrolled in a paralegal program? The Los Angeles Superior Court (LASC) has an exciting internship opportunity for you! Gain valuable experience and exposure in various divisions of the court, including Criminal, Civil, and Family Law.

LASC is seeking interns to assist with the preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues. This internship will also offer the chance to work in specialized programs such as the Family Law Facilitator's Office and Self-Help Centers, which are staffed by trained paralegals and attorneys.

Aside from hands-on experience in preparing legal documents, interns will also have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field and gain an overview of court procedures and procedures. This internship is open to adults, attorneys, and paralegal interns.

While the internship positions are unpaid, the benefits offered by this program are invaluable. This includes exposure to various areas of law, experience in preparing legal documents, letters of acknowledgement of service, and networking opportunities.

To be eligible for this internship, interns must have completed prerequisite courses in Civil Litigation and/or Family Law. The program also requires a commitment of at least one semester, with a minimum of 12 hours of work per week.
