Job responsibilities:
- Drafting basic trust and estate documents such as wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare documents
- Handling more sophisticated trust matters including SLATS, ILITs, and GRATs
- Experience with estate administration
- Developing and maintaining a book of business (a plus but not necessary)
- Providing mentoring services to assist with individual practice development
- Potential for trust and estate litigation experience
Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney with 2-5 years of experience in trust and estate law
- Strong drafting and research skills
- Familiarity with trust and estate administration
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage a busy workload
