Job Title: Legal Risk Manager, Corporate Auto Claims
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversight of complex, high-value claims.
- Develop strategy and action plans for claims in coordination with internal/external counsel, third-party administrators (TPAs), and insurance companies.
- Attend mediations alongside internal/external legal partners, insurance companies, and TPAs.
- Address ongoing questions and issues from business partners through claims resolution as needed.
- Collaborate with other internal partners to innovate processes and strategies to create efficiencies.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active membership in at least one state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation claims.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills.
Salary Information:
The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in the lowest geographic market to $142,800/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on various factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, Amazon offers a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
