Are you an experienced tax professional with a passion for international tax and business? **Members Only**, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level tax associate to join our International Tax and Business, Investment, & Transactional Tax practice groups. With offices in both Washington, . and New York, this is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team on a wide range of complex and challenging international tax matters.

Job Title: International Tax Associate (Mid/Senior Level)

Experience: 3-5 years of technical tax experience, . in taxation preferred

Location: Washington, . or New York

Department: International Tax and Business, Investment, & Transactional Tax

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Members of the group on a wide range of substantive business and international tax matters
- Provide planning and advisory services for privately held businesses, high net-worth individuals, public corporations, and foreign sovereign clients
- Assist with cross-border business transactions and investments, pre-immigration or expatriation planning, and cross-border compliance matters
- Work on purely domestic transactions, treaty interpretation, and APA/MAP matters
- Research and analyze international tax laws and regulations
- Draft agreements and other transaction documents related to cross-border tax planning and transactions

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of technical tax experience, . in taxation preferred
- Experience in cross-border tax planning and/or transactions for businesses and high net-worth individuals
- Knowledge of passthrough entities, income tax treaties, and drafting transaction documents
- Familiarity with private equity and hedge fund structuring preferred
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and sound judgment
- Ability to work as part of a team
