Responsibilities of the Workers’ Compensation Attorney:
Represent injured workers at hearings before the Workers’ Compensation Board.
Conduct depositions of medical providers.
Perform legal research.
Draft appeals, rebuttals, summations, and memoranda of law.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
Work with support staff to ensure cases are progressing as necessary.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the NYS Bar (recent graduates awaiting admission will be considered).
Strong knowledge of NYS Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations.
Excellent negotiation, litigation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary is DOE $60,000 - $90,000 plus bonuses. Attorneys with extensive experience in Workers' Compensation may be eligible for additional compensation.
