Job Title: Associate Attorney - Litigation - Hybrid - All California Offices
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a team of skilled attorneys in a fast-growing, innovative law firm that values a positive and inclusive culture.
- Engage in various litigation practice groups, including but not limited to business litigation, employment, appellate, general liability, and construction defect.
- Participate actively in mentorship opportunities and contribute to a diverse work environment that respects all team members.
- Have the opportunity to explore different litigation practice groups as a junior associate to identify a preferred area of specialization.
- For mid-level associates, transition into dedicated practice groups based on interest and expertise.
- Meet a billable hours requirement of 1800 hours annually, with the potential to earn additional bonuses based on hours worked beyond this requirement.
- Work towards realistic partnership and equity partnership tracks, with promotions based on performance and cultural fit rather than business development.
- Leadership positions are accessible to all attorneys across various offices.
Education and Experience Information:
- A strong academic record is required.
- Must be a member of the California bar in good standing.
- Relevant litigation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent references and a history of job stability are essential.
Salary Information:
- The base compensation ranges from $115,000 to $170,000 for 1800 billable hours per year.
- Additional guaranteed bonuses of up to $40,000 are available, based on hours billed beyond the 1800-hour requirement.
