Job Title: Tax Accountant - Tax-Global Compliance and Reporting - Senior
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Tax Accountant in the Global Compliance & Reporting department include providing clients with tax guidance and planning related to tax compliance and reporting. The role focuses on addressing key client issues in domestic federal taxation, implementing tax strategies aligned with the client's business objectives, and working with corporate tax, pass-through entities, S corporations, and industry-specific tax matters. Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting audit processes for tax provision reviews and preparation
- Managing the tax compliance process, including review of tax returns and tax projections
- Delivering quality client services, particularly on complex, judgmental, and specialized issues
- Sharing technical guidance and knowledge with diverse teams
- Demonstrating technical capabilities and professional knowledge
- Learning about the company's service lines and applying this knowledge effectively
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or a related field, coupled with two years of related tax experience. Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree in the aforementioned fields must have at least one year of related tax experience. Additionally, the position requires:
- At least one year of tax experience with a mid-size/regional to large-sized/national public accounting firm, focusing on tax compliance and reporting
- One year of tax experience in core tax accounting using ASC 740, tax provisions review, or experience working with US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, with less than 5% potentially international, to meet client needs
- The employer will consider any suitable combination of education, training, or experience
Salary Information:
