The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience in handling litigation matters in both state and federal courts within a law firm environment. An understanding of employment law related issues and clerkship experience are valuable, but not required.
Requirements:
- One to three years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Admitted to practice in Connecticut
- Strong academic credentials with demonstrated writing and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently on client matters
- Drive and client service oriented
Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation matters in both state and federal courts
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on employment law related issues
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Work as part of a team to achieve successful outcomes for clients
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: $145,000 - $155,000
