Requirements and Duties

Our ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in New York and have 3 or more years of experience with litigation in New York State and/or Federal courts. They should also have strong research and writing skills and be comfortable in court and depositions. Experience with commercial/business litigation or employment litigation is helpful, but not necessary as we provide training. Candidates with prior law clerk experience are encouraged to apply.

Duties in this position include preparing issue/claims memos, drafting pleadings, outlining and preparing discovery requests and responses, reviewing discovery, conducting research, and drafting motions. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to handle cases from start to finish, including trials and appeals. Our compensation plans are above average and are commensurate with experience.
