Job Title: Senior Ad Policy Manager, Advertising Trust Policy

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Ad Policy Manager at the company is a pivotal role within the Advertising Trust’s Policy & Integrity team. The role involves high visibility across various business lines, contributing to the customer experience and long-term strategy for the success of company Advertising. The key responsibilities include:

- Owning and managing full policy sets, encompassing creation, management, communication, technical implementation, and ongoing monitoring through data.
- Clearly communicating risks associated with policies to internal stakeholders and senior leadership through high-quality written presentations to support understanding and consensus on policy positions.
- Collaborating with product teams by creating business requirement documents to ensure policy compliance for developing ad products.
- Building collaborative relationships across other policy teams within the Ad Trust Policy team and various departments such as Ads Trust, Sales, Legal, PR, Public Policy, and other business units outside of Ads to support policy management.
- Supporting high-risk and high-impact escalations in partnership with moderation and tiered support teams.
- Building an understanding of ad tech systems and company’s functions to inform policy work to influence product managers and leadership.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Awareness of current and emerging events that impact policy positions.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in content moderation, ad tech, product policy, advertising policy, or related roles with a policy focus.
- Experience in effectively collaborating with Public Relations, Legal, and Public Policy teams in high-stakes environments.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups within a matrixed organization.
- Experience in managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with collaboration skills that enable earning trust at all levels, including leadership.
- Ability to make complex decisions without sufficient data.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, law degree, or MBA.
- Proven experience in owning and managing large-scale policy changes.
- Proven experience working with metrics and data analysis.
- Proven experience working on digital advertising in policy, compliance, or legal fields.
- Proven experience with creative acceptance policies, advertising standards, or a related field.

Salary Information:
The compensation for this position reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,600 per year in the lowest geographic market to $206,100 per year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on various factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The company is a total compensation company, and depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be part of the total compensation package. This is in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
