Law Firm Seeks Development & Diversity Assistant for Talent Management Department
Are you looking to make a difference in the legal industry while utilizing your administrative skills? **Members Only** (US) LLP is seeking a Development and Diversity Assistant to join our Talent Management Department in one of our four office locations: Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, or Winston-Salem. In this role, you will provide support to our Development and Diversity Team and assist with various initiatives, programs, and events.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Development and Diversity Team, including planning and executing leadership, professional development, and diversity initiatives.
- Assist with organizing and coordinating events, such as videoconferences, conference room needs, and travel logistics.
- Help with reporting and metric needs for leadership development.
- Support the diversity calendar of events, including conferences and multicultural events.
- Maintain and update databases, collect and enter data, and assist with invoicing and scheduling.
- Assist with communication efforts, including updating the website, providing status updates, and managing event details.
- Collaborate with the team and work independently to achieve goals.
- Embody the firm's core values of integrity, devotion to clients/stakeholders, and respect for individuals.
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- This position requires 10% travel per year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and three years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a law firm and knowledge of law firm administration, training, or development is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform duties satisfactorily.
- Strong client service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Familiarity with various types of technology.
- Must be able to uphold the firm's core values.
