Job Title: General Liability Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and writing to support various phases of insurance defense litigation.
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
- Handle hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials effectively.
- Represent defendants in significant exposure cases across numerous general liability areas.
- Provide defense for property and personal injury claims for both businesses and individuals, whether insured or self-insured.
- Engage in litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases.
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates who are seasoned trial attorneys with broad trial experience.
- Contribute to a growing, collaborative firm environment.
Education and Experience Information:
- Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- At least two (2) to seven (7) years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation.
- Experience in handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Substantive litigation experience is preferred, though candidates with excellent skills in any litigation arena are encouraged to apply.
