A prominent litigation-focused law firm is seeking a Trial Associate Attorney to join its Houston office. This role is designed for driven, newly licensed or early-career attorneys who are ready to take on substantial litigation responsibilities from the outset. The firm is also expanding into plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, offering an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurial legal professionals seeking to develop alongside a new practice group. Candidates will be trained to think tactically and advocate effectively on behalf of clients in high-stakes matters.

Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda for business litigation and emerging plaintiff’s personal injury cases
Attend court hearings, client meetings, depositions, and mediations
Support senior trial attorneys in litigation strategy and client engagement
Conduct legal research and identify case evidence to support broader litigation themes
Participate in case development, including discovery planning and evidence gathering
Collaborate with colleagues in a team-based environment on complex legal matters
Meet deadlines and manage caseloads efficiently and professionally
Assist in launching and developing a new plaintiff’s personal injury division
Recent law school graduates or attorneys with litigation experience
Strong desire to work in a trial-intensive environment
Willingness to engage directly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a solution-focused mindset
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Graduation in the top 25% of class preferred
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (or awaiting bar results/admission)
Outstanding legal research and persuasive writing abilities
Effective oral advocacy and communication skills
Ability to take feedback constructively and apply it proactively
Eagerness to learn litigation tactics beyond academic theory
Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, big-picture approach
Capable of working independently and within a collaborative litigation team
