Prepare legal documents and maintain case files
Draft and respond to written discovery and legal briefs
Conduct depositions
Attend court appearances, trials, and arbitration hearings
Perform legal research and assess potential legal risks
Participate in all phases of case prosecution and management
2–3 years of experience in civil litigation within a law firm setting
Admitted to practice law in the State of Texas
Proven ability to manage caseload independently and within a team
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Texas
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
Detail-oriented with effective time management
Proficiency in legal research and case management software
Ethical, professional demeanor and ability to work in a team environment
