About the Position:
- Law firm seeking Associate Attorney in San Francisco office
- Full-time position with hybrid work options
- Salary range of $130,000 - $185,000 per year, depending on experience
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401k plan with employer matching
- Opportunity for bonuses based on billing and job performance
- Partnership track available with assistance for client development
- Must be a licensed California attorney with at least 1 year of civil litigation experience
- Background check required
- Relocation to San Francisco before starting work may be required
- Flexible work schedule with weekend availability

Responsibilities:
- Handle court appearances, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and pre-trial preparation
- Primary handling attorney on own cases, with potential for trial participation
- Report directly to a partner
- Provide updates to clients and maintain communication throughout cases
- Expand legal experience and deepen expertise
- Attend training and participate in formal mentoring program
- Maintain a healthy work/life balance
- Meet billing metrics and perform well on the job to qualify for bonuses
- Develop client relationships and work towards partnership track
Requirements:
- Licensed California attorney
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in civil litigation
- Familiarity with San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
- Ability to relocate to San Francisco or reliably commute to the office
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for expanding legal experience and developing expertise
