Lateral Intake Coordinator (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
The Lateral Intake Coordinator is responsible for assisting lateral partners with the efficient opening of their portable work. Key duties include:

- Inputting key data into Intapp Intake’s request form to open clients and matters for lateral attorneys. The coordinator must understand where data can potentially get stuck and help resolve these issues to continue the process.
- Preparing draft engagement letters for incoming lateral partners using the portable matters chart provided by the Lateral Conflicts team. This involves reviewing drafts with the lateral partner and following up to ensure all necessary data is collected for expeditious client opening.
- Assisting with data intake, ensuring various workflow steps advance, including the matter-opening process and interfacing with the Information Governance team for data movement to appropriate workspaces or access. The coordinator must follow up with various groups as necessary.
- Updating client statuses in Integration Plans while opening clients and sending out engagement letters.
- Ensuring a smooth hand-off to the assigned Practice Assistant for ongoing support after portable clients have been successfully opened.
- Regularly interfacing and communicating with the lateral partner, the Conflicts Team, the Business Intake team, the Client Contracts team, the Lateral Conflicts team, the Information Governance team, and the Lateral Integration team.
- Tracking, analyzing, and providing status updates related to opening new clients/matters and setting up data.
- Performing special projects and duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- A strong understanding of client intake processes and data management is essential.

Required Skills:
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.

Salary Information:
The base salary ranges for this position vary by location and are as follows:

- Illinois: - per hour
- Washington: - per hour
- District of Columbia: - per hour
- New York City: - per hour
- New York State: - per hour
- Colorado: - per hour
- California: - per hour
