Location

Duties

  • Represent mortgage lenders and investors in foreclosure, title, and general real estate litigation

  • Manage an active caseload of foreclosure matters from inception to resolution

  • Appear in court for routine and contested hearings and argue motions

  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence

  • Analyze loan files, title reports, and related documents to advise clients

  • Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, timelines, and case updates

  • Coordinate with support staff on document preparation and filings

  • Engage with borrowers and opposing counsel regarding case status and resolutions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of motion practice experience in litigation, preferably in foreclosure or real estate law

  • Strong understanding of New Jersey mortgage foreclosure law

  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a high-volume practice

  • Demonstrated experience handling courtroom appearances and drafting pleadings

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license and good standing with the New Jersey Bar

Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities

  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
