Provide counsel on fraud and abuse, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Serve as lead attorney on health care mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiation of transaction documents.
Manage reimbursement matters, including billing audit work and reimbursement dispute work.
Examine and negotiate managed care contracts.
Address medical staff issues, providing guidance and support, as needed.
Navigate state and federal regulatory matters for healthcare providers, including professional licensing board matters and compliance investigations.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in healthcare law.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm.
Must be an attorney holding a plenary license to practice in New Jersey.
Must comply with the IOLTA Rule.
Must designate one or more fixed physical locations where client files and the attorney’s business and financial records may be inspected.
The law firm is looking for a Senior Healthcare Attorney with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in healthcare law to join their team in New Jersey. This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and laws, as well as the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm. The Senior Healthcare Attorney will be responsible for providing counsel on fraud and abuse, serving as lead attorney on health care mergers and acquisitions, managing reimbursement matters, examining and negotiating managed care contracts, addressing medical staff issues, and navigating state and federal regulatory matters for healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and excellent negotiation and communication skills. They must also hold a plenary license to practice in New Jersey and comply with the IOLTA Rule. The Senior Healthcare Attorney must also designate one or more fixed physical locations where client files and the attorney’s business and financial records may be inspected.
