Job Title: Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate

Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for the defense of medical malpractice actions.
- Draft and review pleadings, discovery documents, memos, briefs, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents.
- Analyze medical records.
- Represent clients in court.
- Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, and all other aspects of medical malpractice litigation.
- Interact with medical experts.
- Conduct legal and medical research and analysis.
- Draft motions.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Interact with clients.

Education and Experience Information:
- Admission to practice in New York.
- At least 2 years of experience in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation.

Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with clients and command client confidence.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Salary Information:
The anticipated pay range for this role is $115,000 - $165,000 per year, representing a good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. The role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
