Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the litigation process from initial intake to trial attendance
- Communicate with clients and medical providers on a regular basis
- Apply court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts
- Review, analyze, and summarize medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Conduct research and writing assignments
- Work closely with attorneys to anticipate their needs and find solutions to problems
- Maintain cooperative working relationships with team members
- Manage electronic and paper filing systems
- Prepare for and attend arbitration, mediation, and trial

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in medical malpractice, personal injury, or a combination of each
- Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures in state and federal courts
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload
- Experience with electronic and paper filing systems
- Experience with arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation and attendance

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000+. The final salary will be commensurate with the candidate's level of experience.
