Job Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney at the law firm, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of insurance-related cases, ranging from their initial evaluation through to resolution. You will closely collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop strategies for complex litigation and engage directly with clients. The role primarily focuses on handling both first-party claims involving insurance coverage disputes and third-party claims regarding defense litigation. Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing and managing a caseload of first and third-party insurance litigation matters, which involves conducting discovery, drafting motions, and preparing for trial.
- Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Providing legal representation to insurance clients across a wide range of litigation matters to ensure excellent service and favorable case outcomes.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing them with status updates on their cases.

Education and Experience Information

Candidates for the Associate Attorney position should possess:

- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Florida and maintain good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in First and Third-Party Insurance Litigation or related fields.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with experience in managing cases from inception through resolution.
