Job Title: Workers' Compensation Defense/Applicant Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Defend clients in workers' compensation cases, which includes making appearances before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
- Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence pertinent to workers' compensation cases.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations to effectively represent clients.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation defense is essential.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary Information:
- The salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $125,000 per year.
