Job Title: Attorney - Workers Compensation Defense
Job Responsibilities:
The attorney will be responsible for handling workers' compensation defense cases, representing clients in various Northern California Workers' Compensation Appeals Boards (WCABs). The candidate must be prepared to make appearances throughout Northern California as needed. The role includes working in a full paperless environment, and the attorney will benefit from a support staff with a 2 attorney to 1 assistant ratio. The attorney is expected to manage their cases with reasonable and relaxed billing expectations.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate must have a valid Bar license and at least 3 to 5 years of work experience in Workers' Compensation Defense. The attorney must be organized, detail-oriented, and physically located in Northern California.
Salary Information:
The position offers a salary of $160,000 per year for an experienced attorney, with additional monthly billing bonuses. The total compensation, including a generous bonus structure, employer retirement contribution, and year-end bonus, can increase total yearly earnings to exceed $200,000 for the right candidate. The firm provides 100% employer-paid health insurance for the attorney and dependents with Anthem PPO. Additionally, the employer contributes 7% of total earnings to a retirement plan annually.

Work Location:
