Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze legal documents to assist attorneys in preparing for litigation.
- Manage a high case load and multiple projects independently, ensuring that deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
- Summarize records effectively and prepare detailed reports, chronologies, pleadings, and discovery documents for attorneys.
- Analyze and review privileged documents and document productions, ensuring compliance with legal standards and practices.
- Collaborate with attorneys on civil defense litigation cases, particularly involving construction defects, insurance bad faith claims, and trucking/auto accidents.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity in all interactions and documentations.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of two years of paralegal experience is required.
- An associate's or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field and/or a paralegal certificate is necessary.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in managing time effectively and organizing tasks efficiently.
- Preferred experience in civil defense litigation and familiarity with relevant legal procedures and documentation.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. This range is provided by the employer.
