Job Title: Bankruptcy Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- The Bankruptcy Associate will be part of the Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice group at the law firm. The candidate will work with shareholders to represent clients effectively in bankruptcy cases.
- The role involves handling commercial litigation with a focus on creditors' rights and remedies, including secured creditor preference, receivership, and bankruptcy.
- The associate will also manage matters related to commercial landlord/tenant issues.
- The position requires the ability to work autonomously on cases while supporting the shareholders of the practice group.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working on bankruptcy cases.
- Experience with commercial litigation, particularly in creditors' rights and remedies, is essential.
- Bankruptcy clerkship experience is considered a plus.
- The candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication is required.
- The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Florida.
