Job Title: 2L Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The role of a 2L Summer Associate at the law firm involves gaining valuable legal experience through participation in the 2026 Summer Program. Responsibilities include:
- Engaging in hands-on, fast-paced assignments in both the Litigation and Real Estate departments.
- Taking on individual matters that provide the opportunity to challenge oneself and gain first-hand experience in various legal specialties.
- Contributing tangibly to real client matters.
- Participating in training and development programs designed specifically for summer associates.
- Joining formal training programs conducted by the law firm's lawyers and industry experts.
- Working directly with seasoned practitioners, including senior associates and partners.
- Engaging in shadow training opportunities to observe attorneys in hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
- Building lasting connections through a formal mentor program and participating in social events organized by the law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be rising 2L law students. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, resume, transcripts (undergraduate, law, and graduate if applicable), a personal statement, and specify the office they are applying for in their cover letter. There is a strong preference for candidates who have ties to New Jersey and an interest in working there after graduation.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the 2L Summer Associate position is based on a $215,000 annual salary for candidates who will work or reside in New Jersey if selected for the role. The offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, the applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, and certain degrees and certifications (., JD/technology).
