Job Title: Tax Partner - Family Office - High Net Worth

Job Responsibilities:
The Tax Partner role at the company involves providing compliance and consulting services to high net worth multi-generational families, their private businesses, investment entities, and family offices. The candidate will be responsible for:
- Utilizing expertise in taxation to address the tax needs of family office/high net worth clients.
- Developing and implementing solutions through effective diagnosis and analytical skills.
- Planning client engagements and managing compliance projects.
- Supervising and reviewing the work of team staff members.
- Working closely with clients as well as internal managers and partners.
- Supporting financial growth efforts and managing a book of business.
- Maintaining and developing outstanding client relationships through exceptional client service and communication skills.
- Articulating complex information and tax law efficiently.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a CPA License or JD is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of continuous public accounting or family office tax experience is necessary.
- Strong experience with high net worth clients, including personal taxation, trust taxation, estate & gift taxation, and charitable taxation.
- Exposure to flow-through entities, partnership taxation, and corporate taxation, including State & Local income (SALT)/Franchise tax for multi-state filers.
- Experience in reviewing tax returns for wealthy family members, their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses across various sectors such as Private Equity, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Wholesale Distribution, Service, Retail, and Restaurants.
- Ability to plan engagements, provide tax consulting services, and manage compliance projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Taxation or Law Degree, experience with a Big 4 or large national, regional or local accounting firm, and experience working with Private Foundations.
- Exposure to reporting and filings related to foreign assets, investments, and holdings.
